SOLANGEL CREATIONS NEWSLETTER - December 2019
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR
Greetings to All,
It could snow today, but just a little. I don't mind, because it makes it a good day to stay in.
I was pleased to win a 2nd Place in the November 2019 "Lucky 13" event, sponsored by the Virgin Valley Artists Association in Mesquite, NV.
A surreal art event is scheduled to happen at the Sedona Art Center in May 2020, and I hope to have 3 entries that will fit the show. My imagination has lost some of it's steam over the years, but it will be a good opportunity to try putting it back in motion. A good imagination is a good thing where art is concerned! If I do well with this type of art, I will fill up my new online gallery with fresh ideas. Hope you'll check in often to see if I'm accomplishing the goal.
My mother had a nasty fall as we took a walk and has ended up with a cracked kneecap. She is coming along nicely and we are hoping the doctor will tell her all is well when we next visit him.
The Old Town Frame Shop continues to display my artwork in their gallery, with a satellite location at Old Town Cafe. I have two large paintings of my Sister's garden produce ready to hang in the Cafe. They would be so perfect to hang in a restaurant, colorful and modern.
As always, I wish you well, and a Merry Christmas & Happy New Year! Thank you for your interest in my artwork.
