San Juan Capistrano Mission No. 2
After visiting three mission I felt San Juan Capistrano was indeed the queen among the missions I had visited. They were all beautiful and I have painted all three. The monarch butterflies were migrating at the time of my visit. They were everywhere, and I included one on the canvas to memorialize their journey.
