A scene from one of the California Missions close to San Diego. Many years ago this gateway led to an integral part of mission life, but as time passed it's purpose changed. The area is no longer used, and appears to have not been used for many years. It has become old, and weathered. Still inspiring, it brings to mind the many portals or thresholds we cross in life and beyond.
